The name of the EP we illustrated for @semwal.live was ‘The Elephant in the Room.’
While we know this as a metaphor, we took the more literal approach and tried to stuff an elephant into isolation right alongside us. Most of this EP has been written and recorded while Semwal quarantined himself during the 2020 pandemic in his room, the visual captures the walls of invention and anxiety while vibing to these tunes in the enclosure of his space.
The illustration style and colour harmonies are inspired by the melodious Lo-fi intro in his EP and represent the over all the mood and love for Elephant in the Room!
